ArtsEdge is the Kennedy Center’s educational media arm providing arts and cross-curricular materials for K-12 students and educators. The website’s free digital resources include lesson plans, audio stories, video clips, and interactive online modules.

Educators can search Lessons by keyword, grade band (K-4, 5-8, 9-12), subject (dance, music, theater, visual arts), and other academic subjects.

A keyword search of the How-To Finder supplies tips, guides, and articles to support arts teaching. For example, Creative Conflict: Resolving and Avoiding Conflict in Group Art Projects has ten tips to avoid and resolve conflicts in creative group projects. A side box contains links to related articles and tip sheets that can be saved and printed separately or as a set.

Search the Standards Finder by keyword, grade band, or arts genre to find National Standards for Arts Education.

ArtsEdge includes other resources too. Families has materials for school, home, and family outings. Students comprises Kennedy Center Cue Sheets, features, creative tools, website connections and more.

The Collection Finder lets users browse the ArtsEdge collection by art form, place, time, or category or by alphabetical index.

A Multimedia Finder lets users browse the collection by images, audio stories, music, video clips, or interactives or by alphabetical index.
