National Museum of Women in the Arts recognizes the work of women artists of all periods and nationalities. It is the only major museum in the world dedicated solely to women’s art. Artist Profiles is an alphabetized catalog highlighting 100 artists represented in the museum collection. Collection & Exhibition Resources is a collection of 17 See for Yourself cards for K-12 teachers with artworks currently on view. An example is the card for Alice Bailly’s “Self-Portrait,” (PDF icon PDF, 199 KB, 2 pgs.), which includes a full-page reproduction, a brief biography, talking points, and a factoid.

Women Composers This database lists a fraction of more than 6000 women composers. Lists only composers of classical music. Highlighted names have biographies.

The Mezzo Cammin Women Poets Timeline Project is a growing resource covering international poets from 2300 BCE to 2000. Each poet will have an image, biographical data, an extended critical essay, and examples of her work. Entries furnish links to related web resources. This website is best for grades 9-12.
